hi
let me know if you find 5mm shifter and brake housing locally.
seem to be a tough thing to find these days.

If you want a black syncros stem instead of that silver one send me a pm as I have a couple I'm not using and I'm just up the road from you.

Nice, I also have no numbers for blizzards that year so added to my serial number database, not very long, hope you don't mind :-)
Stem is currently fitted is a 1994 + ish version if that matter,

My understanding on this is that a tioga T bone stem would had been the option if you did not pay up for a fillet brazed RM stem
I have the Tioga on mine

Really nice project. Love the patina on that frame.

A little progress update:

Rigid fork is installed!
I found a decent deal on a used ex-rocky Tange Big Fork in 134mm. It was located in Alberta, Canada so shipping was OK. It arrived quick and I got it on immediately. (after struggling with the crown race for a while)
It looks very at home on this bike and instantly brings it back to 1990. I love the fat tubes with no taper. They actually flair out a couple of mm near the dropout.

-Front brake and booster on and adjusted
-Pedals on
-Rear brake on

Parts ordered:
-Chain
-U-brake pads
-Shimano SP51 5mm shift housing (I found a good deal coming from China - hopefully legit)

Here is it's first cousin, 1990 Hammer, all original parts except white paint and spurious decals.

Great colour combo on that Hammer.

I rolled the Blizzard down the alley this afternoon to get a little daylight on the situation... It was nice to coast on the bike for 20 feet.
