1988 Bradbury Manitou (finished pics page 12!)

Re: 1988 Bradbury Manitou (finished pics page 10!)

Is a build ever done? Perhaps. I still need a couple pieces to truly finish this bike and give me 'closure' ;). But these minor tweaks won't really change the look, and what you see here is pretty much the finished. It is so satisfying having the right stem on it, just looks and feels right. The cockpit controls are back to my original setup from 1988, with the ODI mushroom grips and 4-finger XT levers. These tires were my faves back in the day, and still feel awesome to this old dog. Speaking of canines, I am loving the silver dogbone cranks. Ahhh...

One of my all time favorite projects on this forum. A brilliant story, and what an end result! It looks just sublime. Thanks for sharing!

Stunning build Shamus. You've done a terrific job (yet again) on it! ;)

Thanks Sand-man! I need to get some modern tires on it at some point so I can ride without fear of my vintage rubber disintegrating in a cloud of dust 10 km down the trail...
