Not had much time to arse about with the Loti this week what with the silly amount of rain causing flooding etc… most of the weekend I’ve been repairing gutters…
But I did get to re-build my XTR RD-M950 GS, the medium cage is now gold to match the chain rings, but it had a few scuffs in the grey to sort out… well it is from September 1996 after all.
Quick raid of the lads Humbrol colours and I settled on good old 53 ‘Gun Metal’ very happy with the match

Of course it should be a nice M900RD, and to be honest the 950 is a fill in.
I could spend £50-£100 on an M900 that’s been tied to the back of a motorbike and dragged from lands end to John o groats but they look shit.
If anyone on here can offer me one for under £100 that doesn’t look like it’s been fooked by a bastard file I’ll bite their arm off!

After saying all that he scores a bargain at £35 - not mint but with a little bit of TLC will look the part

Well it has had a number of price drops... anyway not counting any chickens yet as my PM hasn’t been read..
Although this does hi-light the fact that even if you do visit this site two or three times a day, stuff can easily pass unnoticed...
