My digi scales show it dead on 4kg as it stands so could be built to be quite a nice lightweight machine.

Almost finished!

Just need to fit rear cassette, chain, front cantis, saddle and cables....

I even managed to source genuine STX rc cones online so wheels have had a proper overhaul...
Full spec when finished but in meantime please see pics and please help with tyres..

What colour do you recon? Black, skin walls or maybe something different?

Thanks for that buddy...

Yeah I’m hankering towards that too. I’ve ruled out black as looks a bit boring with the rest of it black. I want folding tyres so recon its gonna have to be smoke and dart as nowt else really out there new and Halo’s might be s little too slick patterned for it... omg! This build will be much more costly than I told the wife it would be!

Aren’t they all?

I quite liked the butterscotch psycho’s that it came with but they’re a bit too old and I want new tyres. Can’t find any new butterscotch or even grey Mtb tyres either which I thought might look cool too.

New cassette along with San Marco Ponza saddle fitted. Have a new Shimano chain to fit too.
Just awaiting new cables and Panaracer smoke and dart to arrive!
Hoping to have this come in at under 10.6kg when complete (minus pedals).

Weighs in at 9kg dead on with my digi scale.

Pics in the sun besides wife’s half painted shed...

Should be finished by end of the month!

.... update 300519..

Quick pic attached wearing its brand new panaracer skinwall smoke and dart tyres...

Jest need to fit cables and chain to test ride it!

Can’t wait...

Looking great, +1 for skinwall tyres. There are a few Kenda options on eBay if you don’t fancy the Dart and Smoke combo :-)
