Picked the frames up today from the powder coaters, couldnt resist playing a little, so I've fitted the top crown race and the bottom cup toboth frames.

A Campagnolo Olympus and an XTR HP-M902 no less....

Had a little play with the show ponies this aft……
That’s a Cinelli carbon bar in a 1993 Kalloy Aluminium stem with Campagnolo Olympus head set, paint is British Racing Green #004225 on Jimmy’s 16”.

And an Ibis Ancotech titanium bar in a Zoom competition stem in a Shimano XTR HP-M902 head set, paint is Traffic Red Ral 3020 on my 20”.

NOS doesn’t always mean everything is perfect.... the nitrile rubber seal rings that came with Campagnolo set had lost a little something over the years and relaxed way beyond a useable diameter.
Fortunately Simply bearings over the border in Lancashire have pretty much every dimension you might need.

Wasn’t sure at first, but it’s was Jimmy’s choice.,. He wanted a Cinelli bar to go with the Campagnolo kit and really wanted carbon.
I’m coming round to it, and once it’s got a set of Grip shifts and Campy levers on and the frame's dressed in Gil's magic fairy dust you won’t notice them.

Pretty light combo though;

Got the nod from Gil at retrodecals that the stickers are ready!!!!!
So to still my beating heart I thought I’d better crack on with the wheels for “Campagnolo Lotus”

A nice set of Campagnolo ATEK rims one NOS and a set of Record hubs with the rear having the 8 speed alloy cassette. Bit mucky when I first procured them, nice and shine now.

I'll tighten up tomorrow...

3. Carplans T-Cut (ultra messy/Stinky as hell but by god is it good)

Matey mate!!!!! :facepalm: what have you been doing all these years? :shock: There's only one... head and shoulders over absolutely everything else..ever..

And if you get the concentrated one that smells of Lavender, Mrs Potato head won't complain when you polish in the kitchen!
