1989 Mantis Valkyrie

I appreciate the Mountain Goat came first, but i think the style is better suited to the Valkyrie, the extra tubes in black add some mysterious illusion somehow.

Awesum.

I can agree with that - the Valkyrie is a bit more complete maybe? I think the differences would be a lot smaller with the same build kit, the all black on the Valkyrie adds a bit more mystery to it I think.

How did I miss this build?!* I'm here thanks to BoTM.

I thought the first photo with the Girvin Vector forks looked good as the leading link design compliments the radical look of the frame... but then I have been completely blown away by how this has progressed.

AMAZING work/result, completely bonkers/stunning paint job, but looks just so right at the same time. Fortune favours the Brave!

Ta!

Thanks Tim - but I have to tell - the first bike is different than the others. I found another frame and got it repainted - the first one is still alive in these colors.

Yep, saw that in the build thread. My comment was poorly written! :O :)

Great you still have both! Again, amazing result and thread :) :)
