It's done!! Crack filled resprayed and lacquered and it only took me the same amount of time as the original respray and finishing :facepalm:
It's not perfect but once I have used the ultrafine finishing compound, applied the decals and waxed it no one will spot it unless they look very, very closely.
Need to chase up the anodisers as that's holding up proceedings.
