Title of this section of the forum.

Hi all

Being new to the whole forum I found this section a bit misleading, the use of the greater than sign > before 1997 is in conflict with what it means, I realise its just an arrow that means up to 1997 but at first reading I thought it meant later than 1997.

Perhaps I should try to get out more.

Think I have always read it as

Reader's MTBs --> 1997 (as in --> being an arrow not > being 'greater than')
Reader's Bikes from 0AD to 1997

But I see your point :D

Re:

You need to look at the whole title in context.

Readers MTBs --> 1997

Disregard the mathematical purpose of the > symbol, and combined with the - - it forms - - >, which can generally be interpreted as an arrow indicating a direction. It's simply a limitation of the character set which means each character is seperated.

When you decide to get out more, make sure you take me with you! :LOL:

:LOL: great thread.

You coiuld look at it as, bikes built before '97 are greater than newer versions :xmas-big-grin:
