love a bit of Ti

Me too, and now I need to replace the pivot bolts with Ti ones too...

No wonder I'm always f*cking skint!

As is the way with any of my builds things change!!

New NOS Ti UBI linkage fork then.

Unusual fork al

So is it spring, elastomer or air? or none of the above!

The steerer looks looong, is there any way to shorten it, do you have to cut both tubes?

cant wait to see it on the bike :)

Yes it is,
Don't know yet!,
Yes the steerer needs chopping, it's 250mm at he moment.
I hope both get cut or it could be one hell of a mess nutting it at speed.
Neither can I... when it gets here!

Re:

Well the fork has made it to me and is now in the shed of shame awaiting my attention. They are beautifully made and finished, so I'll have to up my game on this build. I'm now thinking of a repaint on the frame.

Not had them apart yet, I'm going to leave that to someone that knows what they're doing!

Re:

Well this is turning into a right bloody drama! The UBI fork doesn't fit, so now it's getting an Amp. The good news is I have everything for the build except a front Mech and a seat clamp.

Re:

Made a decision at last on the wheels...

It's getting DT Swiss hubs from a donor wheelset, Campagnolo K2's and DT spokes, not sure if they're going to be bladed or not yet.

Shiny!

Love the wheels and rims

You to have a right love fest going on ...

Always a pleasure to follow your builds Al, plenty of ducks and dives - followed by a bit of bobbing and weaving and then a few sharp U turns for good measure to ensure we all keep up !

For what’s its worth (absolutely nothing) I’d have stayed with the Girvins
