This bike is one of two, made by Scot Nicol of Ibis with help from Wes Williams for The Art of the Mountain Bike show that was run between December of 1989 and January of 1990 at the Braunstein-Quay Gallery in San Francisco, California.

Due to time issues, the placard incorrectly named the bike "Carbon Titanium" when the lugs are actually polished steel.

I hope you enjoy the bike as much as I do.

Lovely! How did you get your hands on it?

BTW, get it out of the shade..! Or shouldn't it be exposed to direct sunlight?

A friend found it online many years ago in SF and purchased it. I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time. As many of these deals seem to occur.

I made a roundtrip drive of 903.8 miles to buy the bike and accomplished a respectable 43.7mpg. It took me 14:32:23 to make the trip :D

A few more photos.

I would be happy just to hang this up and just stare at it.
Very nice.
