Right, after having been nagged by ChrisV40 to add a thread on this little beauty, I have given in!

Picked this up two weeks ago from a member on here Marty455, who has done an amazing job of creating a very close replica of Jason's bike from the video 'Dirt'

The video, Jason and this bike were a massive influence on my teenage mountain biking years, and at the age of 14 I only wanted two things in life, Jason's ink, and Jason's bike!

Twenty two year later and I now have both!

Re: 1995 Specialized S-Works JMC copy

Then a few days later i decided to swap out the splashbacks for something more aesthetically pleasing, so the smoke and darts went on...

And the week after, i went up the coast a way, to visit places where Dirt was actually filmed, having been and reccied some areas previously, I knew exactly where to go, and the weather was simply amazing!

Simply stunning!! I totally connect with this thread - brings back such strong emotions and memories of my youth too.

Re: 1995 Specialized S-Works JMC copy

 nice, always wanted one of these, and it must be down to the film too. Great film, great rider, great bike :D

My old frame.....glad it got the JMC treatment ;)

Ahh did you supply the forks too then as Martyn said they both came from the same place!
I've done a couple of tiny bits more to it since these pics, I've had some grip shift decals made my Gil added, and I've just fitted some fatter releasable tie wraps to the crud catcher like they originally came with and like Jason had on his originally in dirt!
