I picked this up a while ago and spent this winter getting it back together again. The frame is amazingly light and from what i understand this is the last in the MB lineup to be manufactured in Japan while the MB-5 and upwards were made in Taiwan.

It was in a slight sorry state when i collected it but i like a challenge and am happy how its turned out.The photos aren't great and i'll try and get some better pics after its stopped pissing it down!

Always remember the ad in MBA

Re:

The original skewer's were rust and swapped them for some Odyssey Svelte titanium's that were going spare and apart from a new chain, cables and grips it's all original and even have the toe clips and strap's for it but prefer the look without them personally.

The paint is very bright and in most part's in lovely condition and the bike has hardly been used but just a shame it hadn't been looked after storage wise. It's had a good t-cut and carnauba wax polish and just the my Courier prestige went over the bare metal patches with nail lacquer to seal it.

Re:

Cool! Always good to see another Bridgestone on here. This one looks like it will be a great daily driver, love the colour as well.

I did manage to get hold of a MB-4 myself, same as the catalogue image. It was a one owner bike in almost original shape but too small to keep long term. A MB-zip is still on my unicorn list

You certainly don't see many on here compared to lets say manly US used forums and your right when you say daily driver.I'm trying to get a trip organised and visiting the D-day beaches and thinking this would be quite tidy with a rack or two!
