early 90s Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt

Dirt Disciple
As a teenager in the 90s i rode a 1993 Rocky Mountain Blizzard. I don't have a lot of pictures from that one, so all i can show is this one.

I have always lusted for a Thunderbolt or a Wedge and some weeks ago i was lucky enough to get one.

I will take my time with the rebuild of this one, because i don't wan't to regret something later. But i promise everything will be well documented. ;)

The plan is to keep the bike most of the time in a rideable condition, so i can take pictures outdoors. :)

Re:

Nice score. I will be watching as well.
Will you be going with fillet brazed stem and fork?
Roy… are you offering??? As mine needs them! ;)

In a first step i want to use a Serotta fillet brazed fork. The search for the original stem and fork will be difficult, but i'll try my best! ;)

 i was tempted with this one myself.

I quite like the bare frame showing of the brazing. Have you decided on a finish yet?

I will post a pic with the serial # and the dropouts later. The dropouts are imo Shimano.
