The finished product.
My 1996 ARC, repaired, and repainted in the 1993 team livery.

As much as I love it & how BA it looks, I'm definitely not going to compare it to the others here on RetroBike that have built some bad ass restorations.

I know the parts are of mixed match Yeti team years and colors such as...
- Crit brakes were 3dv purple for this livery and turq anodized with the yellow/turq team colors.
- Manitou 2's were used for '93 and not the original.
...and that the '91-'93 year team color frames should have 3dv purple on them and the '94-'95 team color frames should have anodize turq.

But to each his own. I love the bike and hope that it represents the 'golden age' of team Yeti well.

Spec list 06/27/2017

- Frame: 1996 Yeti ARC Easton tubing.
Seat tube & head tube replaced by 'the Legend' FTW.

- Fork: Manitou (1st Gen).
new (firm) elastomers, Ti brake bosses, Ti crown clamp bolts, Ti brake bosses

- Headset: Chris King Sotto Voce 1 1/4", new.
- Stem: NOS Answer ATAC.
Ti quill bolt (black) & Ti h-bar clamp bolt (black)
- Handlebar: Answer Taperlites.
- Grips: NOS ODI Attack (Tomac style) grips.
- Brakes: Critical Racing Gaitling.
Ti mounting bolts
- Brake Pads: NOS XTR M900.
- Brake Cables: Yokozuna 5mm black - new.
- Cantilever cable hangers: NOS Suntour hangers w/ Ti nut.
* I wanted the normal dome type nut, but the ones I got stuck out way too much. They were like a woman's erect nipple! So the nuts are Ti Nylock, but still lighter than steel.
- Brake Levers: Shimano XT II M732, 2 finger levers.
Ti clamp bolts & aluminum nuts
- Shifters: Shimano XT II, M732.
Ti mounting bolts & shifter bolts
- Front Derailleur: NOS Shimano XTR M900.
Ti clamp & cable bolt
- Rear Derailleur: Shimano XTR M900.
Ti hanger & cable bolt, alloy pulley bolts
- Derailleur Cables: Yokozuna 5mm black.
- Cassette: NOS XTR M900, 12-32.
** My cheat, 7spd shifter w/ 8spd cassette ;)
- Chain: KMC X9sl.
- Cranks: Bullseye.
- Crank Bolts: ---
- Chainrings: Shimano SG.
- Chainring bolts: Shimano steel...but thinking of switching to Ti or alloy.
- Bottom Bracket: Bullseye (factory old school).
- Pedals: Shimano SPD M737.
with 1 Ti axle kit
- Hub Skewers: Ringle Ti.
- Rims: NOS Mavic 117 SUP ceramic, 32h.
- Hubs: NOS Ringle- Super front & Super Duper 8, rear.
- Nipples: Alloy.
- Spokes: Sapim stainless double butted 14/15/14.
- Tires: IRC Claw comp.
- Tubes: generic.
- Saddle: NOS Sella Italia Turbo, suede.
- Seatpost: NOS Shimano XT, M730.
- Seatpost Binder: Titanium, black

Ringle Anti-chain suck thing, black, Ti bolt
LizardSkin clear frame protector
 
Looks great! Came together quick! How is the chainline and shifting with the BB?Keep water out of cups as best you can and avoid hi pressure h20. Enjoy.
 
Love it! What an elegant looking build

Its been a long time coming but well worth the wait, I'll bet every time you look at it brings a smile to your face.
