xxnick1975 , :) thanks That's a big relief... I'd actually heard their were secret masonic rules and retrobike kkk on these shores :LOL:

I agree campagnolo looks really beautiful , some bikes it looks just so right , I'm just a little unsure if the union of overburys skinny steel tubes and the bulkiness of campagnolo will work for me though,,. I'll await the part deliverys and see :)
 
Don't be scared of a steel tube and campag, here's a couple of mine

And for good measure, my 1990 pioneer, with part of a 88 group set, a different gen roller cam rear and a more modern front canti, and a new saddle...hang the rules I say....

As for rules. If you can reach them you can have them.

Campag wheels, everything else a mixture. Seems to work.
