Afternoon

Here is my tip find RC200.

Have been wanting one for some time and found this, its my size and so i picked it up for a £5.

Its needs a welding repair to the bottom of the seat post. So will build it up over the coming weeks. I may make he a bit more modern rear disc tab and transfer over some of my other pace forks, and some modern bits I have lying around the house.

Incredible find. Having got it near enough for nowt, you could send it to Pace for a repair and it'd still be a bargain.

Re:

Pace haven't welded a frame for more than 10 years now....

Not much point in asking them

Re:

Will be repaired by Dan on here.

Put will have to painted really as the repair will discolour the frame i think

But what colour?

Re:

GIA Engineering in Stapleford, near Nottingham repaired the seatpost on my RC200.
Welders are ex-Spondon Engineering and used to cycle/motorcycle frames. Made a damn good job and didn't discolour the frame either

Re:

£5 - lucky sod. There are video cameras and clear signs at our local tip which stop you from saving anything, once had an argument with the site staff when i spotted a GT LTS DH at the back of the skip...
