1991 Serotta T-Max

The rims that were originally part of the wheel-set were some super narrow, super arrow rims that wouldn't work with mountain bike tires. The aeroheats were the the closest fit that I wouldn't have to completely rebuild the wheels. The aeroheats transferred over pretty easily with 16mm nipples. I am ever on the lookout for the correct rims and the spare time to totally rebuild the wheels. As far as the Mavic seatpost I agree. That being said, finding a 26.8 with the right length (300 or 350) I could wait a lifetime and not find one or be able to afford it if I did. The one that came off the Cannondale was a very nice condition 27.2 that financed a decent portion of the needs and wants on this build.

Thanks for all the kind words! I will try to get a couple of outdoor pictures tonight and get it into the BOTM.

Just saw this - I must say it's the coolest sweetest bike I've seen here - absolutely Love the Mavic components - rare as hen's teeth and so original and classy
