So I was gifted this lovely frame from raidan73... he's good to his uncle al, although it's probably more through sympathy than anything else!

I'm hoping to keep the build period correct and keeping the patina of the frame. I have Deer head shifters and mechs plus Shimano 600 chainset, Nitto MB/1 stem and risers also a Aerator seatpost. Now on the hunt for all the other bits, which is the part I enjoy the most.

Re:

 Al, you're like a relentless machine

that garage of yours must have rubber walls, reckon you'll need a removal truck to get your collection to Icon -O-Classic this year

Yes a very old and weezy nackered machine.

I have three garages 'Greedy git' I'm limiting myself to four bikes again, although they may be different ones from last year, as two of them may be off to California!

Re:

You could call this a slow burner!

Over a year and no news, until now...

A few more bits for the build. :D

Re: 1985 Schwinn Cimarron

Nice work on the parts, they look great.

The Cimarron has always been a personal favorite, I think it's the fillet brazing and the tapered tubing where it meets the head tube. Enjoy!

Are you missing a Deerhead front mech?

I'm not sure yet mate, I have a bag of bits that's missing in garage 2, hardly a surprise as it's a bloody mess!
