Plans are a more or less period correct (90-92) race machine for longer distance stuff. I'll be away for a few weeks in spring and want to take a bike with me - that will be the Kona. So durability and light weight are essential... I have almost everything for a nice build up except from seatpost, stem and saddle. The Salsa could be nice but would need a respray and I have a Kona/Avocet saddle which is nice but not such a good fit for my a**. And of course: single speed is my only way to go!
As for the frame: It will get a polishing on the outside and a good anti-rust treatment inside, regreasing the headset and swapping the BB for a shorter/lighter one.
Cheers
