RoxMDO

Dirt Disciple
My newly acquired 1997 Infusion M-X-C Pro.
A rare beast indeed. Nicely welded monocoque frame.
6061 T-6 Aluminum. Full XTR M950 drivetrain. Magic Crossland hubs and wheels. ManitouComp 80/100.
25 pounds in present build.
Created as a venture by experienced mountain bike engineers and builders in San Luis Obispo, California.
Frame crafted in Taiwan.
Paper graphics indicate that the frame may have been a prototype or pre-production version.

Re:

Yes. I'm not sure of the numbers. The frames were produced in Taiwan. Apparently they couldn't compete with the likes of Trek, Specialized and Schwinn so numbers weren't big. Frames were available at Cambria Bikes for a few years.

Sweet, as you say a rare beast indeed.
I seem to remember MBA testing a yellow one of these.
