I think this is a 1996, can anyone confirm?
It was its first ride last night and I loved it apart from the zmax tyres which are a very slim 2.0, more like a 1.9 to be honest and felt skippy and just wrong.
Ive a pair of conti mountain kings on order in 2.2 which I hope will improve the ride.

I remember that bike. of all the eggheaded 90s designs, this was the one that made the most sense from a functionality point of view. many current bikes are just a variation of this design.

Re:

I remember when they first came out, the LBS was a Giant dealer and was selling them by the bucket load, I spent quite some time using my motorcycle suspension knowledge to try and get the F&R suss balanced.

Great bikes, although I never succumbed.

Re:

Looks ace that does Chris, my only gripe with it is the forks, need some new lowers or painting so they match the frame lol!
Always wanted one of these, bought one myself but never found a fork to fit it so sold it to one of my best mates!
