And couldnt you just change the fork brace or run the cable through both stops? Not trying to give you more work but now it s been pointed out i cant help but notice it :facepalm:

As for the noodle, I think it adds a sense of originality, as though it was specced on an AccuTrax but later upgraded to Manitou. And as you say, give you the option of going back to the rigid.
