Skip find: GT RTS

Okay so we don't actually have skips here in SoCal, this thing came out of a dumpster near where I work. It looks like a 96 ( or 97) GT RTS-1. Not sure I would put much effort into restoring ti but highlights include a Chris King headset, Race Face cranks and XT drive train. Powertools stem and bars are nice but again not something I am into. Manitou ForK// Rock Shox shock???

Most likely I will clean it up a bit put some wheels on just to see how it rides then part it out.

Quite a large frame, Yetibomb size! haha.

Primo pedals were my fav back in the day, Loved the concave.

Had a chance to clean it up a bit and the shock is definitely blown so that pretty much kills the idea of slapping a wheelset on for a quick couple of rides.

Curved end cap makes it a 7000 series RTS 2 or 3....

+1 Seeing as the front tri was painted too. It makes it worth a bit less than an rts1 I guess, I much prefer the aluminium swing arm to the steel one tho

That looks like a Risse rear shock though? Means it's rebuild-able.
