Re: My 1984 MK2 Raleigh Ultra Burner

These bring back good memories, had a few burners as a young un, had one with simplex 7 spoke mags that I hit a car on and smashed front wheel to bits! Bike landed under a truck and I ended up on floor after bouncing off windscreen and bonnet of a rusty old rover 213! Had a couple more with gold araya wheels and 1 or 2 with what me and my mates called bubble arayas, never knew the proper name for them. They had bubbles between spokes, like you see on some modern fat bikes. None of the ones I had would have ever been garage queens as they were just abused like most were but I'd do anything to have just one of them now! Also had a chopper with a Honda c90 front end on it! Was heavy to say the least but was good fun.

Lovely looking bikes you have and they deserve to be kept the way they are, part of growing up for a lot of us around here!
