I was thinking of doing a mid-school project so I bought this frameset out of the USA on a bit of an impulse. Single bend stays and graphics style mean it was built sometime between 1987 and 1992. Paint is rough, but original, so I'm keeping it that way for now.

Went with a fairly straightforward early 90s build, I just tried to match up the wear and tear.

It's not quite done yet, I am refurbishing some GT hubs which I'll be lacing into Ukai Aero rims for it, to replace the DB Turbo wheelset that is in it now. The VP beartraps are going and some Suntour XCII will replace them. I have some GT Megabites in the mail which will probably swap out for at least the front Comp III. I'll be downsizing from the satellite dish 46t to a 43 or 44t.

Great looking ride, the patina seems to suit it too, although i think it would be great fun to repaint and have a go at some splattering!
