Wetwang Recce - Monday 28th December

A few of us will be recceing a possible new route for 2016 and any of you that fancy a day out map reading and possibly getting lost are more than welcome to join us.
Please prepare for lots of mud and some pretty hard going as this is really not recommended as a winter route.
There wont be any cafe or pub stops on route and I'd recommend bringing lights.

Location - Tatton Sykes Memorial near Garton on the Wolds. Ref - OS GR SE 957 614

Distance - 28 miles (1950 feet of climbing)

Difficulty Rating - 4/5 (not technical just tough riding conditions)

Time :: 9.30am for 10am prompt start

Car Parking -Off road parking on verges.

Terrain - Bridleways, farm tracks, quiet country roads, one short section of busy main road.

Refreshments - None

I think you have the wrong postcode listed

I've explored a few of the footpaths and bridleways around there on my way up to Northallerton and they were ....... muddy .... and that was an October.

I haven't finalised my plans over Christmas, but hopefully I can make this.
