We are hosting the finish of stage 5 of the Tour of Britain in Glastonbury on Wednesday 15th September 2010 and I have been tasked with sorting out all of the periferal cycling events for the day/week.
Amongst the 96 professional, world-class, riders a certain Bradley Wiggins has also confirmed that he will be racing - so its VERY exciting indeed.
I would love to organise a vintage/retro bicycle rally, mass ride-in and display in our beautiful town and am just putting the idea out there to you guys to see what the interest would be.
I am looking, inparticular, for passionate retro-bike owners/riders as opposed to snotty-nosed, cliquey, old-boys clubs - if you know what I mean?!?!?!?
