Quick reply needed - rides around Minehead?

Hello all. I have the misfortune to be working at Butlins in Minehead. Thankfully I have the afternoon off and I was wondering about going out for a quick ride. Yesterday we went along the seafront (heading West) and at the end there were a couple of trails heading up into the woods, and I was thinking of exploring them... I have the whole afternoon free. Are there any good loops to do in this area? Or anywhere else round Minehead? I'm heading out at about 1PM so any locals that see this before then, please reply

Get up onto north Hill. The big bit above the harbour. You can take the road or there is a path or two. Once up there you are onto Coastal Exmoor.............Apart from that, the bits east of Butlins are a bit flat and bland

There are some great trails down there you lucky boy !

Have at look at the aftermath from last years (linky below), was a great ride, ping dirtjumperDMJ a pm as he knows the area like the back of his hand

Ace! I only got the last post after I got back, but coincidentally it looks like I went the same way as you all did - this is the route but I didn't do all of it, I spent too long getting lost in the woods on the way out of Minehead and then looking at things along the way, so I turned round and came back before I'd got half way
