While eBay was on the fritz today, I figured I'd go check out the San Francisco Bike Expo. Sadly, it was mostly geared (no pun intended) to the full suss & downhillers and road bikes. They did have a vintage area and a section for custom bikes. Pics are below. This is the first Expo I've attended (not sure if they had them here in previous years though) and I wasn't prepared to rummage through all the vintage components scattered about (I'm spoiled by eBay's search tool 
) As you'll see in the pics, if you were ready to roll up your sleeves and spend the time, I'm positive you'd find plenty of stuff at a more than fair deal. I'll be more prepared if they do it again next year.
