If I come then I'll either be on my recently finished, never ridden and totally inappropriately tyred Cannondale or on my modern Scale. Do I take a gamble and bring the Cannondale in the hope that it doesn't fail on me?

Sorted. Gears just about work, freehub not creaking too badly and brakes not rubbing too much. Perfect.

I've never been out with you lot before so be gentle on me. I'll be in my old OTH/Ben Hayward Cycles race kit, cos that's what I wore back in 1994, the same year as the bike
