The East Yorkshire Classic weekend of racing once again comes to Beverley in East Yorkshire from 24th-26th July 2009, incorporating The National Circuit Race Championship,
Big G Cyclosportive and East Yorkshire Classic Premier Calendar Road Race

Friday I thinks a race around Beverley

Saturday a long race, stretching up to Wetwang/Sledmere across to Stamford Bridge then towards Pocklington and Market Weighton and back

Sunday is the Classic racing around the Wolds

BEIJING GOLD MEDALLIST TO RACE IN BEVERLEY

Ed Clancy, MBE, who won a gold medal at the Beijing Olympics, is the star entry for Friday's National Elite Circuit Race Championships to be held in Beverley.

Clancy is just one of more than 700 entries received for the three day feast of cyclesport in the East Yorkshire market town of Beverley.

Over 450 leisure riders will contest Saturday's sportif touring events around the Yorkshire Wolds.

Sunday's East Yorkshire Classic 98 mile road race has attracted 139 racers from England, Scotland, Wales and the Channel Islands. For the first time an Irish team is competing.
