I just dug out the email from them.
This is the campsite they were on about if anyone wants to check it out;

**EDIT

Just found a capsite/caravan park 2 miles from Brighton centre - better for after the party. £6.60 a night, toilet & shower blocks.

Jimmy and myself should be there in a purely Harvey’s Ale tasting/heckling capacity :)

Any idea on the course conditions? I'm wondering if 6 hours on a rigid bike might be a bit much for my wrists!

Hello all. Hope lots of you can make it to The Big Dog! It's shaping up to be a great event :-)

Course isn't overly bumpy and there are many smooth lines to be found. Might depend on how quickly you are hitting some of the sections but as a whole I say you would be fine rigid as all the trails are well bedded in.

Any other questions either post them here and we'll try and answer them or email us at info at brightonbigdog dot com

See you on the startline.

OK, I'm in! I've signed my wife up for the one-lap race too! :)

What's the consensus on camping, Southdown Farm? When I book do I ask to be put with the other old bike nuts? :lol:
