As mentioned on the General section I've sent my entry for this event and am hoping to improve on my time done in the Rutland event in December (couldn't be any worse!).

Watch this space!

My start sheet arrived this morning and I'm off just after 10.00am. Start is the east end of the old road through Tadcaster where it joins the A64, turn is the A1241 roundabout, finish far end of Tadcaster bypass just before slip road.

Thanks for the good wishes guys - they must have worked because I improved over my December ride by nearly 2 1/2 minutes and recorded 28-15.

It wasn't easy with a bit of a wind blowing and I rode my 'old skool' bike whereas virtually everyone else was on carbon speed machines but it was fun - in a very strange sadistic sort of way

Next event probably on March 14th, an 18 kilometer event down near Blyth (the Nottinghamshire one).

You can see some pics of me in action here -
