Thinking of finding some 1.5" tyres and riding full rigid to help with the hills. Is this plain daft?

Last time I did this route suspension was something cars and motorbikes had. As for tyres- I used very worn Specialized Crossroads II. Sould be alright on fully rigid.

Looking forward to this. My wife pointed out when I put it on the calendar that it is on the weekend we are supposed to be moving back into the house. I pointed out that the builders will still only be on page 8 of The Sun by then :roll:
