Right, the aftermath thread!

Great ride enjoyed by all today it would seem. Thanks to those that braved the freezing cold weather to make it; MJN, Andy B, NickD, legrandfromage and SPESHMIKE.

I think the ride can be summed up puncture nightmare day! SPESHMIKE being the worst hit, 3 in total and 1 was before we even set off  bigcheese had 2, NickD 1 (although the thorn was left in and stayed up) and I managed 1, at the end, to be faced by a 10 min walk home  Oh, and I manage to snap my chain, so big thanks to Andy B for a swift repair 8)

So....highlights:
> legrandfromage's kit (chino's tucked into socks! )
> NickD's swift *cough* pedal change
> 3 punctures all discoved at once
> the weather staying dry all ride
> legrandfromage's rear wheel removal technique
> the descent that cause my groin distress
> the climb that followed 8)
> complete lack of grip from the tyres
> the fantastic singletrack overlooking Lincoln
> trying to cross the road afterwards
> the grub that Kirsten made 8)
> getting my Stumpjumper 8)

Enjoy my pics

Huge thanks to Pickle for organising this, and to Kirsten for the food.

I really need to ride more though

Just seen the last of pickle's pics, I look a little er 'special' when I'm eating

Also had a quick blast on LGF's drop barred beastie, it's fun!

Glad I could help out with the mechanicals, seems like the right idea for me to set this up:

Just need to get the website up & running (must ply the designer with alcohol to get it done faster!)

Thanks to all for a great ride.
