Here we go, the details:

BREAKING NEWS – WE’RE REDUCING THE PRICES IN 2019!!!

Tickets on sale Tuesday 21st August 2018.

In 2019, a whole new decade of Mountain Mayhem® will begin, with new rules and a new venue, but importantly still the same amazing, unique Mountain Mayhem® atmosphere with reduced prices in most categories.

Two main Changes
Ride from age 14
No restrictions on type of bike*

This is a mountain bike race with a course designed specifically for mountain bikes, but if you want to ride a BMX we’re not going to stop you!!

Our basic strategy is to ‘Keep it Simple’:
Per person pricing
No sub categories

How can we reduce the prices?
Because we are going to introduce Early Bird pricing plus an entry fee for non-riders. Mountain Mayhem® is a very expensive event to produce. Our costs increase every year. Riders should not have to subsidise non-riders who in fairness also use all the facilities and can enjoy everything that Mayhem has to offer - except racing of course.

How much will it be?

EARLY BIRD (AVAILABLE UNTIL 31 ST DECEMBER 2018)
▫️ £75 for riders
▫️ £25 for non-riders
▫️ FREE non-riders under 18 accompanied by an adult

REGULAR (AVAILABLE FROM 1 ST JANUARY 2019)
▫️ £85 for riders
▫️ £35 for non-riders
▫️ FREE non-riders under 18 accompanied by an adult

For details of what's included visit http://www.mountain-mayhem.com

Charging for spectators? OK, but not that much.
and as a team of 10 we paid ~£45 per head last time IIRC, so that's a price increase right there.

Not their best move

your spot on, as it stands the price has come down for solo's and gone up for 10 mans

Fair enough its evened things up but potentially the solo gets 24 hour unlimited access to race
whilst only one of the ten man can be out - with the other 9 relegated to drinking beer and farting whilst they await their turn.

lets wait and see what the re-think is that al-Onestare kindly posted up

Just picked this up from the Mayhem facebook page.

THE RIDERS HAVE SPOKEN….

….and the organisers have listened!!

Earlier this year when we were thinking of changing the format of Mountain Mayhem® for 2019 we put a poll on Facebook and asked you what you thought. The majority of riders voted ‘It ain’t broke, don’t fix it’. Unfortunately, we didn’t realise that meant the way we charge for the event as well.

Hands up – we got it wrong. But now we are determined to put it right and we’re going back in time. Not only are we going to reinstate the per team pricing, by way of an apology we are also going to hold 2017 prices for 2019 until 31st October 2018:

21.08.18 - 31.10.18

Solo (Men/Solo Women/Solo Singlespeed) £82.00
Pairs (Men/Women/Mixed) £159.00
Open 3 -5 (Men/Women/Mixed) £315.00
Open Veterans 3 -5 (Any combination) £315.00
Wide Open 6 -10 (Any combination) £460.00
Six of One, Half Dozen of the Other 3s (Any combination) £160.00

On November 1st 2018, Early Bird prices will come into effect with Regular prices from 1st May 2019. For full details see the website.

Tickets going on sale on Tuesday 21st August at 6pm.

Enter from Facebook or the Mountain Mayhem® website.
