Does anyone know what time the Saturday retro race is? Only I've found out last week I have to be in Brighton on the Saturday, and may have to stop over. An afternoon start would be good!

Race at 1pm but I think sign on is until 12pm.
It’s a time trail so we’ll be setting off in intervals which means you could start much later that 1pm if you get signed on..

Okay so that's the Retro Marin kit in a bag ( plus some modern liners to protect the old chap and others eyesight) the bikeshow bike loaded and strapped down , just have to decide which of the Marin to build up in the morning to ride? The Yellovelo dropbar mtb that doesn't stop or the '84 Palisades that to be fair brakes...
Having ridden the route back in January on my Jones there's a little apprehension in the lack of brakes...

Packed the Yellovelo, fatter tyres, higher dropbar ( hope the stem extension holds) and maybe the brakes will work in p***ing rain that is forecast tomorrow....

Maybe I should bend my dropbar a little to get more leverage on the skids sections
