Pedal of Honour Classic - Sunday, September 3rd

I run a charity bike ride every May, but for the last couple of years also organised a retro ride in September here in the Chilterns. It's not a massive sportive or anything, just a great day's riding across quiet lanes and some of our 'beige roads', featuring parts of the Ridgeway bridleway.

The start and finish is in Berkhamsted, which is a mainline stop on the Euston/Birmingham/Manchester line or close to the M1/M25 if you're driving.

Details of the route are available via the webpage, but we are in the process of tweaking it for this year's ride. More details to follow.

Probably a bit far away for me, but looks like a wonderful day out! Really had to comment on the clarity of the website though - rare treat to be given a clear idea of what an event is all about, enough detail but no waffle. Very refreshing!

I tyr to keep it reasonably simple and straightforward - rather like my pedalling!
