Great to see so many Retro Bikers there, all racing on their Retro bikes.
The stand had some sweet bikes on it too.

Some memorable moments were:

The rain :(
The wind :(
The mud

Well done to Ed for riding his SS whilst recovering from Typhoid!!

Shouting encouragement to riders from the Heckel tent at night in the pouring rain. Eye of the Tiger....

The huge pile of broken gazebos in the bin.

Beer on the Kenda climb watching the last lap in the sun.

Well done to everyone who rode, especially at night in the rain.

And get well soon Heathy!

Sounds like a good weekend lads (and ladies :) ) - sorry i couldn't be there to help out/race this year.

But what is worrying are the Heathy comments  - what happened?
Surely lightning can't strike twice for Retrobike - Jimmy last year Heathy this year?????

yes just about . were you there ?

sorry but I am bad with names . same with Johnny66 , I dont remember seeing him but it might have been on the stand .

Heathy had a big off before the end of the first loop on a very fast descent . He hurt his shoulder badly and had to retire .

Hmmm, hope he is OK.

As a certified MTB DH coward, I would have to think twice about MM'ing using my proposed retro ride with cantis - I love my discs for 'serious' riding.

Just checking the lights didn't fail at a critical moment ! Couldn't be there unfortunately.
