Summer Peak District Retro off road ride? Anyone interested?

It is fun returning to biking after a long layoff, but my kids arent really up for anything yet and I dont have any biking mates any more

Anyone up for a gentle run out sometime? No plan for place/time etc. I am a few minutes from Baslow so east side of Peaks works best for me

I'd be up for that. I am fatter and slower than Jabba the Hut on Diazepam, mind, and therefore not an inspring presence uphill. I'm in Manchester, but mobile - willing to provide lifts to anyone local that wants to go.

If you can wait until September then there is always the classic Retrobike day in the Peaks ride. This year it'll be on the 12th September.
