The possibility of Cyclo Cross or MTB racing is there using the whole 1500 acres subject to course details being approved by Forestry Commisssion.

I was thinking while riding that a 3-lap race there would be ace!

Carnage!

First race ever I don't finish except for mechanicals ... well i did snap the mech hanger, lost a spoke and twisted the chain on my final lap - but it could've been mended if I could've been bothered.

We (Yeti/Goldtec) were doing well but unanimously decided to pack it in at 8am. 30"-35" laps turned into 55"-1h20 and wheels stopped turning altogether.

Course wasn't all that much fun in the dry but with that mud ...

Can't believe there must be people still on the course. (I've been back for two hours after a three hour drive).I wish I had some pics ...

is it really that wet? weird man, just done a 5hr easy ride in the brecon beacons dry, dusty trails :lol:
