Jumble @ york bike rescue TDF weekend.

Hi, I have given the info that york's premier bike recycling centre is holding a jumble at their city 'hub'. sat and sun. from 9am.

It's situated under lendal bridge(literally) nr aviva building side. Loads of sturmey, racks, full bikes and all manner of kit.

What time are they likely to be running to on Sunday - seeing there's a small bike race until twelveish (in the city anyway).

I expect they will still be running at noon.

They are hoping to raise as much dollar as possible, so well into the afternoon.

Popped in Sunday afternoon, just before closing and picked up a nice Simplex front mech, and Weinmann rear brake. There was also a rather nice Witcomb, less wheels looking a little unloved. Obviously been un-used for a while, set of perished tyres in the plastic bag, toe strapped to the saddle.

Popped back this morning to check size...and new retro road bike project has begun.

I was only supposed to be up there to watch the Tour de Yorkshire. :shock: :shock:
