Some of you will be aware some of us on the forum (myself, rc200ti, nakedgav, inzaman, imnotanumber-06 among others) will be attempting a 130 mile charity bike ride from coast to coast (Workington to Sunderland) in under 24 hours this June.

Undertaking this ride in less than 24 hours is going to be a real challenge as most that do this route take 4 days. Please sponsor us for this event. All donations will be going straight to the charities listed below and you can donate by clicking on the links:

www.justgiving.com/c2c-catch22 (local charity in East Midlands for rehabilitation of young offenders)
www.justgiving.com/c2c-msf (medecins sans frontieres)
www.justgiving.com/c2c-unicef (worldwide children's charity)
www.justgiving.com/c2c-sustrans (promotion of cycling and routes nationally)

Please consider donating with Gift Aid as this will ensure extra money will reach the charity.

Some of us will be riding retro so wish us luck and please donate!

Thanks, Ed

Just noticed this - how did you get on?

One of those great days. Blessed with the weather which although hot wasnt windy. We set off at 5am and finished at 10pm which included 13 hours riding. 134 miles at an average of 10mph. Raised over 3k for very deserving causes. Had a great time on a 91 cindercone with a Brookes saddle.
Could ramble on. ..... Thanks for asking.
