Course details are now on the MM website
http://www.mayhemworld.co.uk/Mountain_Mayhem/course_details.html

8.5 miles of what looks suspiciously like grassy climbs :? As the majority of the climbing is in the first half of the lap its going to be a bit brutal for the early hours on Sunday

ok , first climb is 1.5 miles long . how does it compare with the climb to tower in the North downs for the ones who know it ?

is it harder , if it is I need to get the excuses in early .

Last year there were no easy climbs in my mind. Its the Malverns. Its grassy and grindy type hilly. Not really the best place for biking, but not really the point of the event :)

Looking forward to starting the lap with a 1.5 mile grassy climb. Ideal when wet too

It'll be similar to the biggest offroad climb at HoNC - a long grind.

I'm definately bringing the Yeti. Whether I race it? Depends on weather I guess, and my mood :D
