Did anyone do this today? I was going to but it was fully booked. Also the price of £28 per adult and £10 child but me off slightly!
Was it any good?

I did the 52 miles on the dynatech.
3 hrs 49 seconds.
I came 951st

It was only a tenner to enter.
bit boring doing 52 miles, as it's 4 laps of the circuit.
And the bit by the lowrey was a total bottleneck!
Otherwise good.

It was £28 when I looked, but it seems to have been reduced o £10:

Glad you enjoyed it, I'll probably try and do it next year!

I did the 52 mile on the £5 scrap man find. Managed a time of 02:45:22 landing me 640th. Which I thought it was quite a respectable time, for a fat bloke on a 19year old bike costing less than a pair of inner tubes.

There was a bloke who rode with me for a short while, who said he could tell my bike only costs a fiver. C0ck!

Good fun, and am definitely doing it next year. I think they will adjust the Lowry section as it was a just too narrow really.

Got the Manchester to Blackpool run on the 8th July. Hopefully I can offend more people on my Stig ride. That is Stig of the dump, not the Top Gear Stig

Have fun!!

Matt
