had a bash at a local cx race tonight, raced on the saracen in full team colours..........well retrobike long sleeve and surf shorts lol. bloody cold, hard work but strangely enjoyed it! cant believe how quick the young uns are now!!! got lapped 3 times i think by the winning group but lapped my mates ;) :twisted: lol

roll on every other wednesday for a few months :cool:

how does it work then? is it a sort of series where you stack up points and your position alters accordingly? you will probably get a bit quicker too. also have a look round for some 3/4 bermuda shorts for when it gets colder :cool:

Yeah, the Becky who was in our shop today buying a new bike on the NHS Cyclescheme who was telling me about getting you into CX....
 
she succeeded lol,but only the occasional very local ones, frighteningly fast they were!!!!!!!!!!
