Hi All
been trying to think of something amusing to do after the ride. I fully admit to being more fit than technically able (in other words I'm sh,te at bunny hopping!)...so what better than a retro style bunny hop competition in a Jez Avery style!
Any kind of bike allowed, & special awards for:
not lowering your saddle
any kind of crash!

ramps not allowed ;)

yep. certificate to prove :D

Have to admit, this was not using the approved bunnyhop technique. More of a lift and hoof on spd type affair
Marin Pine Mountain in non-stick and fluoro orange. This was actually the worst bike I have owned

Drink at home, friends and occasionally now in towns. Any excuse really. Doesn't help cramp though!!
There are some pubs nearby the Chase, but also a great bacon butty cafe. mmmmm

I can never manage to hop in a straight line. The back wheel always goes at least a foot to the right

I drink to forget.

Bunny hop contest is a great idea. Will try and remember to bring some breeze blocks and a scaffold bar for those 40" attempts

Perhaps we could invite Jez Avery and Mark 'Blast-Off' Batt for a rematch.
