Sustrans are hosting a big cycle jumble on Saturday 18 June in the city cente of Nottingham. Further details below. A 2mx2m indoor pitch is £5 and this includes table hire too. Please use the below contact details to obtain a booking form or pm me or visit the following website:

Carnival of Cycling (including Bike Jumble Sale)

Carnival of Cycling, organised by Ucycle Nottingham (a Sustrans project) and part of National Bike Week 2011, is a celebration of cycling as a way of life, a sport, a hobby and leisure activity.

When: Saturday 18 June, 2011 – 10am – 4pm
Where: Byron House, Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham City Centre, NG1 4GH

The event will be both a celebration of cycling culture and a fun, informative access point for everyone. The Carnival of Cycling will consist of two main areas. Area 1 will be a Bike Jumble Sale in which stallholders trade cycle parts and accessories.

The second area will be dedicated to the promotion of cycling, both to those who already ride bikes, and to those who are completely new to cycling and want advice about getting started. This will include roller racing (courtesy of Rollapaluza), pedal powered fun, bike polo, free bike services, free bike maintenance workshops, second hand bike market, a plethora of information stalls, food/refreshments, secure bike parking and much, much more.

Time to get your diaries out and if you want to get rid of an old bike or parts then why not have a stall at our bike jumble sale. We're still looking for traders/sellers and cyclists with too much stuff

Any questions please contact us on:

An unfortunate date as it's Mountain Mayhem (Uk's biggest MTB event) :( Would have come otherwise.

[size=9]The jumble sale is now really full, so expect a big sports hall full of sellers trading vintage, road, fixed, mtb, bmx and commuting gear - don't miss out on a bargain!

We're all set now. We've organised all the prizes. Take part in the bike racing competition courtesy of Rollapaluza, beat your friend and you could win a £40 Evans voucher. Not bad for a 30 second burst.

Don't forget that there will be bike stunts and tricks from the UK's leading trials display team, sure to dazzle the crowd.

We've tried to pull out all the stops: free bike checks, pedal powered fun, free D locks courtesy of the police (first come, first served), cycling related film programme, lots of information stalls and much, much more.

And if you want to ride to the event, we have secure bike parking too.

All the details are on our website and facebook page: or our facebook page at:!/event.php?eid=187707997946928
