Copied over from E.Mids ride thread:

Pretty brilliant ride really... despite seeming to do a large amount of walking and carrying.

Always good to meet up with other groups and there was a great selection of bikes to drool over.

The final descent from the top of Win Hill was an unexpected surprise but worth the climb... almost worth building it into the next time.

...a nice cold beer now... :D

This is the route the East Midlands Tribe took. 25.3 miles and 5443ft of ascent. Odd blip in the GPS at one point - don't think we did that shimmy near Edale End!!

Love your gps traces Ed, I bore Kiran silly with them...

Fantastic day's riding, great to catch up with everyone in the sunshine. Considering I nearly didn't come (ill/no sleep) I can't believe what a great day it turned into! 8)

Thanks everyone for making it happen and keeping me grinning & covered in dust all day! :D

Great ride yesterday with unbelievable Easter weather and a few off piste diversions. Well worth it for the views and downhills though.

Really good to see everyone out there on a great selection of bikes on such a beautiful day. The heat was pretty exhausting though and I'm still re-hydrating today.

Looking forward to seeing some photographs.

What a fantastic day, thanks to all the AEC's for organising this. Great to see some old faces and new and some lovely bikes on show!
