having got what i think is enough footage for a good little vid on the camera i have just discovered i need yet another cable to download it from the camera!! :x

i usually use my little camera for vid footage with a card reader but the new camera has 2 outputs, one for pics and one for vid, and they only supply the pic output cable and of course, they are different!! :x :x and the card doesn't register in the card reader i think because of a format difference

i'll try and pick one up tomorrow and get it sorted!

still haven't cleaned the bike  and i'm not going out into the monsoon outside to do it either!! it can wait till tomorrow!!

where to start? many thanks to all organising personnel. these events simply would'nt happen without ya!

talk about luck, i was'nt quite on form yesterday, coughed my head off this morning( had a bug all week) so, finding myself in company with two awesome cyclists drystonepaul and eedwards, i knew i was in good company!

i found a good selection of atb's with a wide range of manufacturers. i hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as i did. the food laid on on was just delicious washed down with a flagon of mead! also a 'red' sticker now in the bag!
thanks for the prize( sus bike) the stem will find its way onto the cro-mega DX in good time. the BIKEFOOD sachet was also put to good use.

two buckets of water and im still finding filth, grit etc. havn't started on the wheels yet

see y'all soon.

Well reminded Marc, forgot we had another prize winner i've now updated the prize list. I'm sure Ed's fire road special stages will live long in the memory for you, please address all complains to the the Guv' :D

Washed my bike afternoon, took 5 buckets of water. Nearly sacked it off for the local power washer. Wouldn't recommend leaving it too long.

Another fab ride!, and cant wait until the next one ,which just seems too long away .

Too many highs to list

But a few would be the general vibe ( can we say that anymore) which was just lovely.

The food , premium grade sausage rolls and goats cheese caramelised onion and rocket mini quiche affairs that would put waitrose deli to shame.
The beer
the banter
the lycra ( not!)
the stir my 400cx caused , all available at a very reasonable price ;)

Respect to team lard as well, that little fella could be the next Steve Peat I’m thinking. “hurry up dad, go faster dad” was all I kept hearing.

And it goes on,

Only low was the two hours it took to clean my bike today 

Anyway a few pics and a big thanks to all the organisers
